SUMMARY

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

SUMMARY

This course is a combination of online modules AND a shortened in-class session. This course issues an in-class certificate. You must complete the online session and bring proof of completion to the in-class session. This course satisfies OSHA/workplace requirements. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

 

 

SUMMARY

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training plus First Aid/CPR/AED course prepares students to care for children and infants safely and confidently.

It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding diapering picking up and holding children safety and emergency response.

We want to prepare participants well for emergencies but CPR can be physically demanding and participants should ideally weigh at least 85-90 pounds to participate in this portion of the course.

Successful completion awards a 10-year Babysitter’s Training certificate and a 2-year Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate.

 

NOTE:

The duration of this course depends on a lot of factors such as class size, physical ability of the students, the students ability to grasp and maintain information.

It has been our experience that due to us limiting the class size along with allowing the students to eat, drink and use the rest room that it typically takes about 4 hours to cover all Babysitter’s Training with videos.  We will cover various material such as.
