American Red Cross - ADULT AND PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED - IN CLASS

 

SUMMARY

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

American Red Cross - ADULT AND PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED-BL

SUMMARY

This course is a combination of online modules AND a shortened in-class session. This course issues an in-class certificate. You must complete the online session and bring proof of completion to the in-class session. This course satisfies OSHA/workplace requirements. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

 

American Red Cross - ADVANCE CHILD CARE TRAINING W/ PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED - ON LINE

SUMMARY

The Advanced Child Care Training Online course teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to responsibly care for children and infants in and outside of the home. This includes training in leadership, child behavior and discipline, professionalism, safety, basic childcare (bottle feeding, holding, etc.). Learners will be engaged in virtual environments in which world-class animated characters respond specifically to choices made. Throughout, learning is supported through additional activities and informative videos.Note: This program is not intended as certification for state licensed child-care providers and does not meet all state requirements for such certification.

American Red Cross - BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - IN CLASS

 

SUMMARY

The Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, child and infant patients. Consistent with the AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals.Through the use of lecture, skills demonstration, practice and case-based emergency response scenarios with a focus on team-based response, BLS builds the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes.Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime, anywhere access to certificate and training history.

American Red Cross - Babysitter's Training plus First Aid/CPR/AED

 

SUMMARY

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training plus First Aid/CPR/AED course prepares students to care for children and infants safely and confidently.

It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding diapering picking up and holding children safety and emergency response.

We want to prepare participants well for emergencies but CPR can be physically demanding and participants should ideally weigh at least 85-90 pounds to participate in this portion of the course.

Successful completion awards a 10-year Babysitter’s Training certificate and a 2-year Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate.

Cat & Dog First Aid Online Training

In this 35-minute online course, you will learn the basics in caring for cats and dogs through a variety of topics – from understanding and checking your pet's vital signs, to preventative care for cats and dogs, to caring for the most critical emergency situations - including breathing and cardiac emergencies, wounds, bleeding, and seizures.
